Weekly enrichment classes in art, music, physical education, food/nutrition, and library/media technology add to student’s learning and fun.
Afterschool program
The After School Arts for Learning Academy (ASALA) offers students in grades K–8 the chance to explore their creativity through the arts—completely FREE!
Operated by Arts for Learning Maryland, ASALA runs 2:30-5:30pm Monday-Thursday during the school year. Students engage in arts-integrated academic learning and enrichment, exploring various art forms like illustration, spoken word, percussion, drama, and dance with professional artists.

Our athletics program supports students’ academic success. Student-athletes must maintain a high academic standing, demonstrate leadership, uphold good behavior, and show sportsmanship.

In 2026, Pimlico Elementary/Middle School completed construction of a new turf field and four-lane running track to support student athletics, physical education, and afterschool programming. The new space provides expanded opportunities for students to stay active, build teamwork and leadership skills, and engage in a healthy, supportive school community.
