Beyond Pimlico

At Pimlico Elementary/Middle School, we prepare students for success that extends far beyond our classrooms. Our 8th graders leave equipped with strong academic skills, confidence, and determination—ready to thrive in rigorous high school environments and to continue growing as learners, leaders, and members of their communities.

High School Destinations

Pimlico alumni attend a wide range of Baltimore City high schools, including some of the city’s most competitive and selective programs, such as Baltimore City College, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Western High School, and Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Grace Nyembo, Class of 2022

Pimlico’s Class of 1960

More than 65 years after they first walked the halls of Pimlico Elementary School, four members of the Class of 1960 returned to their alma mater for a special reunion. Their visit offered a powerful reminder of the deep roots Pimlico has in the Park Heights community and the lasting impact a school can have across generations. Alumni Harry Fox, Lois Landsman, Martin Stein, and Donna Wolf shared memories, toured the school, and reflected on how their experiences at Pimlico helped shape their lives. Their return celebrated not only a class reunion, but also the enduring connections that make Pimlico a true community institution.
