Enrichment Offerings

Weekly enrichment classes in art, music, physical education, food/nutrition, and library/media technology add to student’s learning and fun.

Afterschool program:

The After School Arts for Learning Academy (ASALA) offers students in grades K–8 the chance to explore their creativity through the arts—completely FREE!

Operated by Arts for Learning Maryland, ASALA runs 2:30-5:30pm Monday-Thursday during the school year. Students engage in arts-integrated academic learning and enrichment, exploring various art forms like illustration, spoken word, percussion, drama, and dance with professional artists.

ASALA provides:

– A Creative and Supportive Learning Environment

– Homework Assistance

– Arts-Integrated Math and Literacy

– Arts Explorations, Athletics, and Robotics

Afterschool Clubs:

  • Chess Club

  • Robotics Club

  • Swim club at Callow Hill Aquatic Center

  • Imagine Me Mentoring

  • LGBTQ Club

Athletics

Our athletics program supports students’ academic success. Student-athletes must maintain a high academic standing, demonstrate leadership, uphold good behavior, and show sportsmanship.

Athletics Offered:

– Teams: football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, track, and golf

– Girls on the Run running club

Summer Program

Pimlico hosts the Summer Arts for Learning Academy, operated by Arts for Learning Maryland. This full-day, five-week program provides a fun and engaging summer experience, introducing students to new art forms and creative discovery. Participants will develop socially and emotionally while exploring various art experiences that support their growth.
