Au service des élèves de la maternelle à la 8e année

Our Program

We use a research-based curriculum for reading, math, science, and social studies to help students build knowledge and improve their skills. Our differentiated instruction meets each student’s unique needs, and we regularly monitor progress to ensure mastery of the material.

Direct Instruction for Reading (PreK-5th)

We believe all children can learn when taught well. Direct Instruction, our research-driven reading curriculum, allows students to learn at their own pace. Students are placed in groups based on their individual needs, whether they need extra help or enrichment. Regular assessments provide data that helps us adjust group placements as students grow into more confident readers.

Older students who need additional reading support receive help through our individualized Direct Instruction program.

Our unique Pimlico/Sinai Middle Grades Health Sciences Program is an exciting way for students in grades 6-8 to take advanced science classes and explore careers in medicine and health.
We work in partnership with LifeBridge – Sinai Hospital to provide our students with:
  • Tours and hands-on learning experiences at Sinai or area colleges or universities.
  • Classroom visits, lectures, and labs from medical and non-medical staff from Sinai Hospital and other partners.
  • Pathways to careers in medical and health fields: doctors, nurses, and other medical staff, healthcare administration, information technology, the building trades, culinary services, marketing, and legal services.
