La voie de Pimlico

How we relate to each other matters a lot. At Pimlico Elementary / Middle School, we create a caring school community based on positive relationships, inclusivity, and respect.

Restorative Practices

We use the Restorative Practices program throughout our school to build community and reduce conflict. Restorative practices is the science of relationships and communities and was created by the International Institute of Restorative Practices. This helps us create a positive, respectful community for children and teachers to build great relationships and problem solve.

Peer Mediators

Our trained peer mediators, 7th and 8th graders, are leaders at Pimlico Elementary/Middle who help foster positive friendships, resolve conflicts, and support Restorative Practices. These practices build a respectful community, reduce conflict, and teach problem-solving skills.
